Ultimate spider-man carnage review

So I know it's been a while since I've written ANYTHING on this blog.  But at this moment (While I'm downing a glass of double vodka and coke) I feel like ranting about something I've recently watched.  And that is the 'Carnage' episode of the so-called ultimate Spider-man.

Now, personally, I've never been fond of this series.  I mean I even compared it with the more superior Spectacular spider-man in a similar fashion to how someone compared the 80s turtles with the naughties turtles, and found that even though Ultimate has better animation and and access to a whole load of characters that spectacular didn't, it pretty much sucked at everything else.  Yah, even action!  The thing I hated the most was those rotten side comic scenes or seeing a chibi spider-man speaking to regular spider-man, which did not work at ALL.  Nevertheless, when I saw the previews of the carnage episode where peter is turned into Carnage, I thought hey!  This looks interesting!  Like we could see a sociopathic twist to all those chibi spiders and their family guy side scenes.

Instead for an episode entitled Carnage we had Carnage defeated before the credits and was just ANOTHER venom episode!

Utter, utter, cheat.

And Anonymius was so hopeful that some reference to Carnage would be made later.  But no, apart from Gobbie mistaking Venom for Carnage, not a sitch.  Nothing!  Nu-uh!

You know, If it wasn't for the touching scene where PEter mends his relationship with Harry, I would give this episode a D-!  But it gets a C.  Minus.

Oh well.  hopefully the deadpool episode won't be as disappointing.

I remember one reviewer saying that breaking the fourth wall was Deadpool's gig.  And yes, breaking the fourth wall suits him much better.  I was even able to tolerate the chibi moment.

Tolerate it.

So maybe it will be good and It will be the one episode I can actually not give a minus to.
